I have been drawing since early childhood, after all, like many children. But I was lucky from childhood to see how my grandfather created portraits from scraps of fabricor sewed clothes in folk style . My grandmother made hats from felt and fur. And my mother made interesting architectural projects. So, I was surrounded by creative people. Only dad did not have a creative profession. As a result, when an art school opened in our city, I immediately entered it. I dreamed of being an artist. But it so happened that I still entered the faculty of architecture, where, of course, they also teach drawing. When I graduated, there were very difficult times in our country. The Soviet Union collapsed, Ukraine was a very unformed state. Crazy inflation, impoverishment, there was no work. There were no vacancies for a young architect in our city. And then fate gives me the opportunity to teach at the same art school where I studied. And this became an impetus for the realization of a childhood dream - to be an artist. I like to experiment in my creativity. I like to combine different techniques and materials. I cannot work in one style and make many works on one theme. I really like folk art and primitive painting. And, of course, working with children leaves an imprint on my creativity.
