My name is Tímea Hadar, I was born in the village of Csongor, near Mukachevo city in Ukraine, in 1975. My first acquired profession, or rather vocation was teaching. The teacher training school in Mukachevo is a very important milestone in my life. It is where got my first degree in teaching art in 2007. This is the time and place where all my passion for art, painting and creative works originates from. Later, in 2018 I got my second degree in applied graphics designing, but painting is still taking up a central part in my life. Throughout the recent years I have participated in several art camps both inside and outside Hungary and had participated in many exhibitions with my artworks. Mukachevo, Hévíz, Gyömrő, Monor, Tata, Veszprém, Budapest, Nottingham, Sussex and just this year in the Human Gold exhibition in the Gallery of Thoresby, these are all places, where my artworks have been exhibited so far. I mostly paint my experiences – a newly discovered, gorgeous land, or the uplifting feeling of a busy morning in Kotor. I love to use the colors as an expression of my mood, my feelings and my thoughts. Sometimes it is not even a physical scenery, that I would like to express, but rather my impression of it. This is my biggest challenge so far, to make the invisible visible. To make paintings that direct my thoughts into the perception of those, who observe them. Whatever the object of my painting might be, my goal is to make that painting alive, and carry a little piece of me inside them.
