Ivaylo Stoychev is a Bulgarian artist born in 20.06.1965. In the first years of Ivo’s childhood, he shows huge interest in the fine art. His love in the traditional Bulgarian architecture can be often noticed in his paintings. The old Rhodopian (State in Bulgaria) houses and the wild Bulgarian landscapes are his favorite painting scenes. The unique Bulgarian nature is main element in most of his works. By his opinion, we are surrounded of amazing elements, which usually stay hidden from the eyes of the most of the people. Old sheds, almost ruined wooden huts, fallen fences, half nailed nails in the wooden windows. Those objects are the inspiration of his works. On first stage simple, but in the same time really important details which can be notices in Ivo’s paintings. The diligence of Ivaylo to create all of those elements in his works has the task to show in what beautiful world we live. Paintings of Ivo are often included in charity auctions. Works of the artist are exposed in the “State institute for culture” at Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Bulgaria and in many private galleries.
