Anania is not looking for motivation to create something, as he believes that life is a motivation in and of itself with all its feelings, affection, and passion. Over twenty years have passed since Anania moved to Yerevan. Instead of enjoying the view from the balcony, Kocharyan sits in one of his favorite cafes, enjoys his coffee without sugar, and smokes regularly. But the one characteristic remaining solid in himself is the hope, optimism, and thankfulness to life for what he has. "Although everyone is free to perceive my paintings differently, I have a substantial goal to give people positive vibes through my art," adds Kocharyan. He tries to live his life to the fullest and take advantage of any kind of emotional outburst to create art. During the last five years, Kocharyan has had four individual exhibitions, was part of various international symposiums, festivals, and competitions. His works are represented in such famous online galleries as Saatchi Art, Art Station, Artmajeur, and Armenian Online Art Gallery. The last exhibition of the artist named "Prostration" took place in October 2019, in one of the art galleries of Yerevan. Although Anania's artworks presented there were very similar to abstract expressionism, he prevented from putting his art into frames in terms of style. Indeed, all his paintings are distinct and convey different emotions, feelings, and thoughts, but they have a common characteristic: the sense of hope highlighted with bright colors. Kocharyan states that one of his primary objectives is to convince people that they should not be in search of good and positive in their surroundings, as it is already inside their nature.
Through my works I strive to express the real essence of the objects/phenomenon, which enables you to see the art without limits and to recognize the reality
