Dzintars Adienis – painter and a teacher. Born in Riga on March 15th 1976. In 1994 graduated from Janis Rozentals Riga Art High School. In 2000 finished the Latvian Academy of Arts painting department and got an Art Master's Degree. Has participated in exhibitions since 1999. You can find his paintings in such countries as – Estonia, Lithuania, Finland and France as well. The most common painters signature for Dzintars are landscape and figurative gender paintings in the technique of oil colors and his own most favorite technique – drawing. The works are dominated by the landscape - water - each work has its own mood, its own painting style, color palette. Water is very grateful for painting and at the same time - complicated, because it is in continuous motion. But the unrelenting movement, reflections, depth give inspiration for the creation of new works again and again.
